Supercoach Champion Responds to False Allegations and Confirms Legal Action

Melbourne, 01/01/2025 – Supercoach Champion has been subjected to false and defamatory accusations following the cancellation of a scheduled competition due to low participation. The competition, which required a minimum number of participants to proceed, did not meet the necessary threshold and was therefore cancelled.

To the best of our knowledge, all seven registered participants were refunded in accordance with our published terms and conditions. Efforts were made to inform participants of the cancellation, with some being contacted via telephone to explain the situation and refund process.

One individual, who believes they were entitled to prize winnings despite the competition not proceeding, was offered a full refund along with half of the intended prize money as a goodwill gesture. This offer was refused.

Despite these efforts, the individual has engaged in an ongoing campaign of online defamation, making baseless and misleading claims about fraudulent conduct. These statements are entirely false and misrepresent the circumstances surrounding the competition’s cancellation.

Supercoach Champion is a reputable business that has proudly served the community for over 10 years. We have never been involved in any of the allegations being spread online and take our reputation seriously. To protect our business and our customers from false and damaging claims, we have taken formal legal action. There is an active police investigation, and court proceedings are underway to address the defamatory statements and hold those responsible accountable.

Furthermore, it has come to our attention that there has been active recruitment of individuals to participate in the dissemination of these false claims. This coordinated effort to spread misinformation and damage our reputation will also be subject to further legal action in due course.

We remain committed to transparency, fairness, and the highest standards of integrity in everything we do. We will continue to defend ourselves using the full extent of the legal system and will not allow misinformation to go unchallenged.
